networking with linksys gateway

Hi Guys
I want to network 2 computers running win xp 2 pro at home. One is my personal computer, second is my laptop which runs in a domain in my office. Both to be connected to a router cum adsl modem by linksys, at home. Pc is thru wired ethernet connection and laptop thru wirless lan.
Idea is to share internet and files together, print documents using my home printer connected to my pc at home.
Pls advise procedure.
